WHEN RECYCLING PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE GUIDELINES
 
  • Rinse all cans (aluminum and tin), bottles (glass and plastic) and jars
  • Remove all lids
  • Remove recyclables from bags or other containers and place them loose in the appropriate bin
 
PAPER:
  • newspaper
  • white office pack & notebook
  • brown paper bags
  • mixed paper: colored, junk mail and flyers
  • magazines & Catalogs
 
PLASTIC CONTAINERS:
  • Please look on the bottom for one of theses symbols: Plastic #1 symbolor Plastic #2 symbol
  • Sorting by type is not necessary
  • The top of the container must be smaller than the bottom
 
GLASS - CLEAR & COLORED:
  • Bottles
  • Jars
 
CORRUGATED CARDBOARD:
  • Break down and flatten
  • Must have channels Sample of corrigated cardboard channels in it
 
BATTERIES:
  • Single-use Batteries
 
WINE BOTTLE CORKS:
  • We are now set up to receive wine bottle corks. There is a 5 gal bucket hanging on the end of the glass roll-off.  They will be sent to a charity that assists children with autism.
